Portobeer is a beerhouse which has gone in a big way for a modern, laid back design.
It has two floors with different atmospheres: on floor 0, gold and lacquered white are the prevailing colours for savouring the specialities of the house and of the city between 12 mid-day and 2 a.m.. On floor 1 (with a smokers' area) the black tones afford a more private atmosphere, ideal for get-togethers between friends or for enjoying the wine dinners which are organised every month.
On the terrace, a menu with cocktails, various ice creams, fresh salads and traditional snack suggestions invite you to savour the summer on the largest avenue in the city of Oporto.
The Portobeer gastronomy offers a menu rich in traditional delicacies with pride of place going to the mythical francesinhas (ham, sausage sandwiches covered in melted cheese and tomato sauce) and there is a wide variety to choose from: francesinha à Portobeer, white meat francesinha or vegetarian francesinha are the combination of the art of cooking with a splash of creativity.
Based on an “Oporto-style” philosophy, Portobeer aims to bring back the tradition of the classic, emblematic beer halls of the city but from a modern, dynamic perspective.
